Medieval Fae Fest welcomes guests of all abilities. We are committed to making our festival accessible to everyone, in keeping with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Florida Accessibility Code. If you have an accessibility need not covered below, please contact us before the event and we will do our best to help.
Getting Around the Festival Grounds
The festival takes place outdoors on the grounds of the Jackson County Agricultural Center in Marianna, Florida. Ground surfaces vary by area and include grass, gravel, and packed dirt. We will maintain accessible routes connecting parking, entrances, stages, vendors, restrooms, and activity areas.
Guests are welcome to bring personal mobility devices, including wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, canes, and crutches. Please note: we are unable to provide charging for motorized mobility devices on the festival grounds โ please plan to recharge in your vehicle.
Accessible Parking
Designated accessible parking spaces will be available near the front of the building on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid disability parking placard or license plate is required, and the person to whom it is issued must be present in the vehicle.
Accessible Entry
All public festival entrances will have an accessible route. If you need assistance upon arrival, please ask any staff member or volunteer.
Restrooms
Accessible restrooms will be available in the food court area.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at Medieval Fae Fest, as required by the ADA and Florida Statute ยง413.08. Service animals must remain under the handler’s control at all times. Please note that under Florida law, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor.
Seating and Viewing Areas
Wheelchair-accessible viewing is available under the arena at the ends of the bleachers. All other performance and activity areas are open viewing. Companions may sit with guests using accessible viewing areas.
Questions or Assistance
If you have questions about accessibility at the festival or need an auxiliary aid or service, please contact us at least 72 hours before your visit at medievalfaefest@gmail.com and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you.
Admission
Guests with disabilities pay the same admission as all guests. Attendants accompanying a guest with a disability also require paid admission.
